THE TEAM

Tracksmith is an Independent Running Brand

We honor the Amateur Spirit upon which the sport was founded and champion the Running Class – the non-professional yet competitive runners dedicated to the pursuit of personal excellence. We offer well-considered, authentic products for training, racing and recovery. Our aim is to celebrate, support and add to running’s distinct culture.

Our office and flagship retail store are located at 285 Newbury Street in Boston’s historic Back Bay neighborhood. We host group workouts for all ability levels on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, followed by recovery snacks and beverages on the roof deck. Our space is bright, airy and distinct, filled with bright, ambitious and original thinkers. We’re always looking for great talent as we continue to grow the team.

Our current openings are listed below.

Graphic Designer

Tracksmith is looking for a Graphic Designer to help elevate and strengthen our brand message through all visual communications online and offline. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of design principles, especially typography and branding, across both digital and print formats. You need to be able to design within an established brand identity system, while pushing the direction forward. Daily design projects will include marketing emails, digital lookbooks, print materials, retail displays and apparel graphics. You will also help prepare assets for production across various formats and executions.

Tracksmith is a nimble team of highly motivated and productive individuals. It is a fast-paced environment with high expectations across the organization. However, we put a strong focus on quality – both the quality of what we produce and the quality of life for our employees. This is a full-time position that will report to the Creative Director.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team to articulate and execute designs.
• Create marketing assets consistent with our brand image.
• Assist in studio and on-location photoshoots.
• Design and prepare email campaigns.

Requirements:

You have continuously proven yourself academically, personally and professionally. You have succeeded in demanding, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. You have 3+ years design experience at an agency or premium consumer brand, and an education in graphic design or similar. You have expert knowledge of typography and grid systems, and advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills. You have a solid creative portfolio that features design and production across various projects. An interest and understanding of the sport is desirable.

Retail and Community Associate

Since we opened the Trackhouse doors in April, we’ve been growing our presence on Newbury Street. More that just a retail space, the Trackhouse is where runners come to train, connect, relax and indulge themselves in the sport they love. We’re looking for team members to help enhance the customer experience at the Trackhouse, guiding their retail journey and engaging them as athletes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong retail experience and running background or interest.
• Experience in supporting and executing special events.
• Availability for at least 5 weekend days a month, 15-20 hours per week.
• Great interpersonal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• General knowledge of the Tracksmith brand and the Boston running community.
