We honor the Amateur Spirit upon which the sport was founded and champion the Running Class – the non-professional yet competitive runners dedicated to the pursuit of personal excellence. We offer well-considered, authentic products for training, racing and recovery. Our aim is to celebrate, support and add to running’s distinct culture.

Our office and flagship retail store are located at 285 Newbury Street in Boston’s historic Back Bay neighborhood. We host group workouts for all ability levels on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, followed by recovery snacks and beverages on the roof deck. Our space is bright, airy and distinct, filled with ambitious and original thinkers. We’re always looking for great talent as we continue to grow the team.

Logistics & Operations - Manager, Inbound

Tracksmith is looking for a Logistics and Operations Manager. This role is an essential part of delivering on the Tracksmith brand promise. It requires an appreciation for and understanding of systems and processes, and an exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Reports to: Sr. Manager Logistics & Operations


Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely and cost effective delivery of our goods from domestic and international factories to our Distribution Centers.
• Manage the product creation process within internal and 3rd party systems to ensure timely and accurate information.
• Assist with Go-To-Market planning process to ensure accurate information and on-time product launches.


Additional Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with factories and freight forwarders
• Confirm and track all sea/air freight bookings (Shipping POs)
• Manage delivery timing with Operations Team and our DCs
• Track and communicate product deliveries to your cross-functional partners
• Track & analyze inbound freight and iterate on process improvements
• Manage the product information and classification within our internal systems
• Work collaboratively on strategic logistics initiatives
• Other projects or tasks as assigned


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3-4 years experience in logistics or supply chain, including management of external partners
• Experience with import & customs brokerage
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with database systems and/or project management tools a plus

E-Commerce Content & Operations - Associate

Tracksmith is looking for an E-Commerce Content & Operations Associate to help maintain and elevate our website and e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical approach paired with an ability to maintain high brand standards across all aspects of our website.

Reports to: Sr. Director Sales & Operations


Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain website pages and marketing emails.
• Actively manage the category and color merchandising of products within the website.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure on time launch of new products and weekly emails.
• Manage product setup and configuration within our e-commerce and ERP systems.
• Work closely with our internal data analyst to understand on-site customer behavior, purchasing patterns and the impact of different merchandising efforts.
• Monitor inventory sell-through, identifying slow moving and fast moving products.
• Manage development requests from scoping through release with our external development partner.
• Coordinate A/B testing efforts for website and email optimization
• Work closely with the Marketing and Customer Service teams to manage discount code and promotion timing within the e-commerce platform.
• Problem solve complex issues that involve various programs and partners.
• Adhere to department policies and procedures.
• Other projects or tasks as assigned.


Requirements:

You have continuously proven yourself academically, personally and professionally with 2+ years of experience in the website and e-commerce space. You have strong organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust quickly in short timeframes with limited supervision. Knowledge of Shopify, and HTML/CSS is a benefit. You thrive in a changing business environment and are flexible and committed to achieving goals. An interest and understanding of the sport is desirable.

Advanced Designer & Developer

The Advanced Designer/Developer will be primarily responsible for advanced product creation across Tracksmith categories with a focus on solving for the functional needs of the competitive runner with solutions that are uniquely Tracksmith. This role will lead advanced material development, rapid prototyping and a robust testing initiative leveraging the Tracksmith community. This role will manage some long lead-time innovation projects but is primarily responsible for ensuring that products across current and future categories incorporate the most relevant and functional technologies and are thoroughly tested.


Responsibilities:

• As a peer to the product management, design and development teams work to identify, create and test functional fabrics and technologies that can be used to improve the performance of Tracksmith products across all categories.
• Working with product development lead the creation of rapid prototypes in order to test concepts quickly and efficiently across multiple categories.
• Working with product management create a pipeline of new technologies and product concepts that complement specific brand merchandising initiatives; IE: NDO, Off Roads, RCR, etc
• Work closely with the design team to represent the functional point of view and the best application of technologies and incorporation of technical wear test feedback.
• Manage the design and initial development process for advanced projects including but not limited to work with outside partners, new category creation and new concept exploration.
• Lead Tracksmith wear testing program leveraging our extensive network of competitive runners using both quantitative and qualitative methods to ensure that products are fully vetted before going to market.
• Leverage the entire Tracksmith community to identify new concept opportunities and present those to the product management & senior team.


Requirements:

• Minimum 8-10 years in product design and/or development with a specific focus on performance running products.
• Extensive understanding or experience with the culture of competitive running.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively use Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and Google suite applications.
• Ability to travel independently domestically and internationally. Travel to Asia a plus.
