Tracksmith is an independent running brand. We honor the Amateur Spirit upon which the sport was founded and champion the Running Class – the non-professional yet competitive runners dedicated to the pursuit of personal excellence. We offer well-considered and authentic products for training, racing and rest day. In everything we do, we aim to celebrate, support and add to running’s distinct culture.

Our office and flagship retail store are located at 285 Newbury Street in Boston’s historic Back Bay neighborhood. We host group workouts for all ability levels on Tuesday (track session), Thursday (tempo run) and Sunday (long run), followed by recovery snacks and beverages on the roof deck. Our space is bright, airy and distinct, filled with bright, ambitious and original thinkers. We’re always looking for great talent and welcome candidates from all backgrounds. Director, Marketing Performance

Location: Remote, USA

Running is a sport that equally relies on heart and head, art and science, conviction and empiricism. As such, runners rely on performance metrics as critical benchmarks towards achieving their goals. As part of the Brand and Marketing team at Tracksmith, the Director – Marketing Performance will play a leadership role in bringing the empiricism to our brand conviction to help scale Tracksmith’s brand and business. You will report to the Brand President.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development and implementation of Tracksmith’s performance marketing strategy.
• Work with the Brand President to establish and manage the advertising budget and channel mix.
• Accountability for the day-to-day management of all performance marketing channels.
• Establish frameworks and KPIs for the evaluation of campaign,vendor, and channel performance.
• Cultivate an iterative approach to campaign improvement, documenting learnings to inform future initiatives.
• Perform as-needed analysis of marketing performance to support senior leadership.

REQUIREMENTS:

• You are highly curious and analytically-minded yet have a ‘brand first’ mentality
• 5+ years in growth marketing, performance marketing or marketing analytics roles at consumer brands or agencies.
• Great interpersonal communication skills.
• Deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and take initiative.
• Advanced experience with FBAM, Google Ads and Google Analytics.
• Experience managing direct mail and affiliate campaigns is a plus.
• Experience with multi-touch attribution modeling tools and data analytics platforms is a plus.

Manager, Event Production

Location: Boston, MA or New York City, NY

The Event Production Manager is responsible for the overall management, production and success of all Tracksmith events. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales & Operations this role will operate cross-functional with the Retail, Marketing, and Community teams. Serving as the central point of contact this role will lead through hands-on execution of events by partnering with each team to scale Tracksmith’s brand presence across a number of different event activations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the go-to-market planning for each event including all Tracksmith pop-ups.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align on needed resources, timing and deliverables.
• Work with the Creative team to bring the event vision to life.
• Establish and manage an overall events budget.
• Lead the process of establishing success metrics for each event and the tracking/reporting against these metrics.
• Oversee the transportation/storage of any necessary Tracksmith materials/infrastructure between events.
• Manage external third party production companies to ensure Tracksmith’s premium
• execution standards are met.
• Manage the run-of-show for each event ensuring a cohesive customer experience.
• Partner with Retail and Communication teams to align on frontline staff training needed to execute high-level experiences.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years relevant experience in live event production and understanding of experiential marketing and retail.
• Strong track record in delivery of large scale programs, campaigns or projects.
• Great interpersonal communication skills.
• Deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and take initiative.
• Manage the execution of events, including but not limited to scoping execution needs, task management, sourcing, vendor coordination, etc.
• A strong interest in running culture and a desire to help position Tracksmith as a differentiator in the space.
• Proven success in leading a multi-disciplinary team in collaborating to achieve established objectives
• Travel up to 50%, including internationally.

Marketing Production Coordinator/Specialist

Location: Boston, MA

As part of the marketing team at Tracksmith, the Marketing Production Coordinator will play an integral role in the execution of brand content across owned, earned and paid channels. They will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications to ensure the successful creation of brand assets and support the marketing team in executing the go-to-market strategy across channels. This role requires creativity, strong organizational and project management skills, and a passion for athletics. An interest in fashion and lifestyle media is helpful. This role will require travel for photoshoots and may require work on weekends for shoots or events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the successful planning and execution of photoshoots. This entails working closely with the marketing, creative and product teams to identify asset needs across channels (e.g., social, email, catalog) and to deliver them on time. Specifically, this person will:

• Plan studio photo shoots - including shot list development and sample coordination with the product and creative teams - and manage post-production asset coordination.
• Plan lifestyle studio shoots - including athlete outreach, travel coordination, sample coordination, location scouting, budget management and logistics - and work with the marketing team to develop stories and content from the shoots.

Manage the product sample library with detailed tracking and coordination across internal teams and with external partners. Specially, this role will:

• Work with our internal team to plan for sample needs across brand, editorial and seeding.
• Oversee influencer seeding by identifying opportunities that align with our marketing campaigns, coordinating communication and shipments, and tracking results.
• Work with our PR agencies to facilitate editorial coverage of key seasonal styles.
• Manage our ambassador outreach efforts by coordinating product seeding and content delivery.
• Support the planning and execution of new product launches and brand campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong project management skills and ability to problem solve
• Background or experience in asset creation and management
• Self-starter who thrives in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to work quickly and on strict deadlines

Apparel Designer

Location: Boston

The Apparel Designer will design technical performance apparel and accessories by conceptualizing ideation sketches, material specifications and product details with consideration for the unique Tracksmith aesthetic and creative vision while following timeline goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create Men's and Women’s apparel and accessory designs appropriate for the target consumer and develop within the project timelines.
• Partner with product development to source seasonal material and trim palette, with an emphasis on innovation, performance and sustainability.
• Involvement and support with product testing
• Create design concept boards and tech packs for all new styles and maintain files from development through production.
• Supply all relevant information for BOMs and color CADs to development/production team.
• Collaborate with design and creative team on seasonal color and print development.
• Assist fit review process in collaboration with product development and technical development.
• Partner with creative, design leadership, product development, product management and marketing to collaborate on product designs; contribute to line planning.
• Maintain fit notes and update all tech packs, BOM notes and CADs following fittings in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in fashion/apparel design or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of apparel design experience.
• Exceptional understanding of performance apparel construction and end use.
• In-depth knowledge of design and development process.
• Strong understanding of patternmaking, draping, and fit.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Advanced experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel.
• Deadline-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Trackhouse - Floor Lead (Full-time)

Location: Boston

Since we opened the Trackhouse doors in 2017, we’ve been growing our presence on Newbury Street. More than just a retail space, the Trackhouse is where runners come to train, connect, relax and indulge themselves in the sport they love.

The Trackhouse Floor Lead is responsible for delivering the Tracksmith vision and will play a key role supporting the retail management team. Using their retail experience they will ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly while helping craft perfect solutions for each Tracksmith customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily retail operations working closely with Trackhouse Associates to deliver the Tracksmith brand vision.
• Help retail management with tasks such as schedule creation and inventory management.
• Maintain the highest visual merchandising and house-keeping standards.
• Use best judgement to make decisions as necessary in absence of retail management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in a luxury retail environment.
• Great interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and take initiative.
• An interest and desire to learn about Tracksmith and running culture.

Trackhouse - Associate (Part-time)

Location: Boston

Since we opened the Trackhouse doors in 2017, we’ve been growing our presence on Newbury Street. More than just a retail space, the Trackhouse is where runners come to train, connect, relax and indulge themselves in the sport they love.

The Trackhouse Associate is the first person Tracksmith retail customers will interact with. They should serve as a reflection of the brand with a deep understanding of the brand history and product line. As a people-person they will be able to engage with customers to understand their unique needs and create a perfect solution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver the Tracksmith vision by engaging, developing and maintaining relationships with all Trackhouse visitors.
• Seamlessly move between all areas of the Trackhouse whilst delivering consistent world-class service.
• Assist the Trackhouse Floor Lead and Run Club team members with day-to-day operations.
• Drive sales by effectively uncovering the customer’s needs and presenting appropriate solutions.
• Provide expert Tracksmith product knowledge.
• Maintain the highest Visual Merchandising and House-keeping standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Availability for at least 5 weekend days a month, 15-20 hours per week.
• Experience in a retail environment.
• Great interpersonal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• General knowledge of the Tracksmith brand and the Boston running community.
