Tracksmith is an Independent Running Brand

We honor the Amateur Spirit upon which the sport was founded and champion the Running Class – the non-professional yet competitive runners dedicated to the pursuit of personal excellence. We offer well-considered, authentic products for training, racing and recovery. Our aim is to celebrate, support and add to running’s distinct culture.

Our office and flagship retail store are located at 285 Newbury Street in Boston’s historic Back Bay neighborhood. We host group workouts for all ability levels on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, followed by recovery snacks and beverages on the roof deck. Our space is bright, airy and distinct, filled with bright, ambitious and original thinkers. We’re always looking for great talent as we continue to grow the team.

Head of Growth

Tracksmith is seeking a Head of Growth to drive revenue and new customer acquisition. The role requires a deep knowledge of defining and scaling campaigns, the ability to use data-led insights to uncover the top drivers of growth and a demonstrated ability to drive value and performance optimization. You will define KPIs and goals, and be able to track and share performance across the company. Top-notch strategic, analytical, creative and leadership skills are a requirement, as this role provides an opportunity to significantly influence the performance and success of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceive and execute a growth strategy to drive rapid, sustainable growth in customers and revenue.
• Own the performance of tracksmith.com and the entire customer acquisition pipeline.
• Manage acquisition, conversion and retention campaigns across all channels.
• Optimize the user journey by collaborating with the brand, product and support teams.
• Design, test and measure new activities that show significant potential for influencing acquisition and conversion.
• Create and champion a growth roadmap, complete with performance tracking, measuring, goal setting, milestones, and brand-aligned criteria for all initiatives.
• Establish a data infrastructure and reporting framework to prioritize and measure growth activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

You have continuously proven yourself academically, personally and professionally. You have succeeded in demanding, fast-paced, changing environments, and have 4+ years of acquisition experience. You have a thirst for new ideas to grow business and rigor in evaluating and testing them. You have exceptional leadership, strategic, analytical and communication skills. You have current or recent experience directly leading customer acquisition and conversion efforts, and strong expertise in – and direct management of – paid channels and tools for testing and measuring campaigns. A BA or BS is required, preferably in marketing or a quantitative field.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong retail experience and running background or interest.
• Experience in supporting and executing special events.
• Availability for at least 5 weekend days a month, 15-20 hours per week.
